So Americans are like, the fattest of people, in general. Which is really not the greatest reputation to build, you know? But it’s not that I don’t sympathize– I personally can’t stand traditional exercise. I think it’s boring. And without a personal trainer, it’s doubtful you’ll get the results you want quickly, since most of us aren’t fitness gurus. So a lot of us turn to crash dieting, or brief stints of running around the block, none of which work or make us very happy.
I myself decided to turn to Pilates– it’s not traditional cardio, but still gets your heart pumping; there’s no weight lifting, but it still includes strength training; it promotes flexibility without asking you to turn over backwards and put your head between your legs, and it targets every single muscle, every single time you work out. And the results? Strong, sexy, lean, toned muscles. However, the classes are pretty pricey, so
check out this core reformer tool for a quick home workout.
It comes with a super easy-to-follow video, and the entire workout does what any class will do in less than an hour. Plus I’m a total klutz, so if I can use it, so can you.
