At the beginning of summer I fantasized about looking illuminated and pixie-like in my new bathing suit, so I Googled “Rihanna’s beauty secrets” because, seriously, I am mystified by how fabulous that girl looks practically ALL of the time. One of the things that came up after a few clicks was NARS Body Glow, but because I’m not a huge fan of bronzy, oily things, I dismissed it. A few days later, however, I was strolling through my local Sephora and the big boxy bottle caught my eye. I considered Rihanna again, then my yellow polka dot bikini, then the tan I plan on getting, and ended up slathering a bunch of the stuff on my arm.

And don’t be like me and let the word “oil” scare you, NARS body glow absorbs fast, doubles as a moisturizer and leaves you with a healthy, luminous look. Think J.Lo circa that infamous green dress, and of course, Rihanna circa every freakin’ day.
